Two little girls found two little kittens whose momma had died. They scooped up the babes and took them home. Their mom gave them a life lesson about helping an animal in need, and together they bottle fed these babes, nurtured them and helped them thrive in their home. These two kittens are now 10 weeks old, and need to find their forever home together. They are close, as two siblings are, after spending all this time together, snuggling, playing and growing, learning about their world together. They are well behaved, inquisitive, happy and healthy babies. SART is doing a courtesy posting requesting for a home together for these two so that they can go from their baby home to their forever home without having to spend time at SART. Much easier for them, so crowded at SART – they would do so much better going from one wonderful home to another. This is a lovely time to open your homes to them – they will need to be fixed in February-March – but SART will be giving them their first shot and worming so that their initial medical is done. If you are interested in taking these two into your loving home, please email me through the contact page. We will make arrangements for you to meet them at their home. Thank you so much for helping these two and also showing the two little girls that if you do the right thing, good things will happen. What a wonderful lesson for them to learn so that they will be nurturing and caring to animals as they become adults.

Email me through the contact page, let me know what kind of kitty you would love to have in your home, and we will set up a time for you to come meet all of our sweethearts if you are the right fit for one of our little ones. You have gotta come see them! They are so sweet and so well behaved – they make you giggle and smile – and who in this world doesn’t need a little more of that? And, I know, that after the newness wears off, and everyone is settled back into the normal routine, you are still going to love your companion friend, look at them, and think to yourself – “Why did I wait so long?”

I had a conversation this weekend with a very nice woman who had found a kitty along the road in June which she scooped off of the middle of the road and brought to us. The kitty was pretty much forlorn, dehydrated, and no zest for life at the time that she arrived with her. She came to visit the kitty, Hope, this weekend and was surprised and delighted to see how well Hope is doing at SART. It is amazing, but kitties are amazing creatures! When she was leaving she handed me a $20 bill, apologizing for the smallness of the gift. I told her – this will buy two inoculations or pay for part of a neuter, and will certainly make a difference. I told her I just wish that 99 more people would give $20.00 each month – SART would be able to function completely without having to look for help throughout the months of the year. We were talking about that and I decided I should present it to our followers…if 100 of you…..and I know there are many more than that…..would donate, through paypal or through the mail, $20.00 each month, it would be the sacrifice of maybe a pizza for you one time a month, but it would make the difference at SART every month! $20 is not a huge amount for any one of us, but all of us together can make that $20 into a wonderful gift, time and time again, for SART. If this is something you would like to do, the ease of paypal is at your fingertips. You can even set it to automatically draw it out on a certain day each month….or you can pop a check in the mail when you pay your bills once a month….please help – we are making a huge difference and we need your support to finish the job we started!
