74 to Go!
Thank you to those of you who have opened your hearts and homes to our kitties. At this time in our 100 cat challenge, we have adopted 26 of the 100 that we need to find loving, wonderful homes for. The adoptions we have had are wonderful – the families have chosen kitties that will be perfect for their homes, and we have 26 into homes that they will have for their lifetime! How wonderful! 74 more. It is so important that we find more homes so that we can safely harbor our residents when the cold winds come. We had expanded our facility for the warm months into areas that are great for warm weather, but we will have to combine and move into our existing buildings these creatures so that they are comfortable for winter. Because we took in so many in the past 8 months, we are busting at the seams and need to continue this challenge so that we are able to keep everyone warm and healthy through the winter.
