My husband recently set before SART the challenge of adopting 100 cats/kittens before year’s end in the hope of making the shelter a little easier to maintain and keep everyone more comfortable with more room for everyone. Of course, these adoptions have to be to wonderful loving homes, who will promise and follow through to keep their pet healthy, happy, safe and loved. If you have been thinking about adopting a kitty, please contact us. We have wonderful animals, ranging in age from 3 months up through the golden years – all wanting to have a family who will love them for their lifetime.
We expanded so much this year, and with cold weather just around the corner, we need to make sure our residents are safe from harm through the chilly months. We need to be sure they go to the homes they deserve – we always say “if you won’t love them at least as much as we do – you may not adopt from us.” We are very strict about this. We are also very strict about not displace a pet that already is in your home to make room for our animals, and not to overcrowd the household, which stresses everyone involved.
So, if you have love to give, can easily take on the care and responsibility of pet ownership, will be able to comfortably take in a kitty to your home without overcrowding, and are eager to take on the responsibility, please contact us. You can go to petfinder.com to see some of our animals – just know that we have many more – I know you will fall in love over and over again.
